A Message to So-Called Democratic Christians
How is it even possible that someone who professes a belief in Jesus and the Word of God could ever support, or be a part of, an agenda in which it is acceptable to murder innocent children in the womb? Or, for that matter support, or be part of, an agenda that endorses or condones the LBGTQ lifestyle. These two ideas alone are in stark contrast to what the Word of God says. It’s bad enough that Christians think they are supposed to be part of the world’s system; but then to join it and pick the side that least supports the Word of God is indefensible.
Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord, “and do not touch anything that is unclean, and I will receive you,” —2 Corinthians 6:17
I have never voted in my life and I am in my 60’s. I have always maintained that my citizenship was in heaven (John 1:12) and that participating in an election by voting was an abandonment of one of the most basic principles of Christianity—separation from the world (2 Corinthians 6:17).
I do not like many of the things that former President Donald Trump said and did. That being said, what in the world do you think has been said and done by all previous presidents, and politicians in general? A politician is a double-minded person by definition. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. And you think Donald Trump was worse than those that preceded him? Did any of you communicate with Donal Trump and ask him about his failures, as the Bible says? Did any of you pray for Donald Trump before you criticized him?
Did all the previous presidents and congressmen have a 24-hour news cycle with a mindset that the president could only do wrong? No! The negative level, quality, and dishonesty, in reporting on Donald Trump was something that has never happened to any other politician in the history of this country. And it happened in a time where news and commentators could fabricate news stories quickly and without consequence, only to have those stories spread throughout the social network universe without verification. And Christian Democrats believed them. Whether it was true of not, they took no time to research the truth, pray about it, before they accepted the veracity of those stories and spouted out uninformed, and generally inarticulate opinions.
For all of you morally superior Democratic Christians who said the 2020 election was about morality, and character, or the person, and couldn’t in good conscience vote for Donald Trump because of all the bad things he allegedly said and did. Well, that may just be the dumbest thing any reasonable or semi-intelligent person could say.
Politicians by their very nature are concerned about two primary things. The first is getting elected by just about any means necessary. And the second is doing whatever it takes to stay in power. This is true for both Democrats and Republicans. If you don’t know that you shouldn’t be allowed to vote. The idea of a Christian politician is almost an oxymoron. Associations with the world in that regard are not biblical. In the Early Church an association with the political world would have prevented that person from being accepted into fellowship with other believers. Today, however, it is almost the norm.
And those of you who voted for a Libertarian because you just couldn’t support that mean guy is the height of idiocy. The Libertarian knew he couldn’t win and only served to allow moronic people to waste their vote because of their infant sized consciences and concern for moral superiority. Who told you to vote in the first place? What part of the Bible says to participate in the world’s system. And if you did choose to vote, what is it about politics that you don’t understand? There should be some kind of idiot test before you should be able to vote.
To even the casual observer the concept of voting is generally understood to encompass the idea of getting the things done you would like to have done, by someone capable of getting them done. Prayer is the preferred method to achieving this and the the will of God, but you chose to vote instead. At least do it with some degree of intelligence. Having even the remotest idea of how politics works would serve you well, but ignorance truly must be bliss. You should never have been allowed to vote in the first place.
I would like to go on and on about the sheer stupidity of the comments made by Democratic Christians who couldn’t vote for Donal Trump because he was mean; but I can no longer dignify the blathering responses, reasonings, and justifications of the politically illiterate. Yes, that would be those of you who profess to being a Christian and voted for someone other than the candidate that would most support your Christian values, or voting for a candidate that openly, and without equivocation, supports the murder of unborn children up to conception.
It is because of you, and your vote, that true biblical Christianity will begin to decline. It is because of you that the Equality Act will be passed virtually guaranteeing the death of traditional Christianity in America. If you don’t know what that is, you should. And for that reason alone you should never have been allowed to vote. It is because of you that churches will close due to new laws passed by Democrats. It is because of you that the LBGTQ agenda will be fully implemented and silence the voice of true Bible-believing Christians. It is because of you that abortions will soon be allowed, in many states, up to the time of conception and possibly afterward (see Democratic Governor Ralph Northam) It is because of you that your children will be taught in school that gender identify is not determined by God, but by your choice. It is because of you that true Christian churches and schools will be forced to hire LGBTQ members who apply because the new Equality Act.
You Democratic Christians will answer for your ignorance. You will give account for all the children murdered/aborted with your vote, on your watch. You will give account for all the people who were not saved because you voted for an agenda that allowed for children to determine their own gender and sexual orientation. They were allowed to be deceived at an early age in school which will lead to a lifetime of deception, because your vote planted that seed of deception. You will answer, probably at the Great White Throne Judgment and not the Judgment Seat of Christ for your gross ignorance of the workings of a political system which you were not supposed be a part of in the first place.
I know, you’re probably saying my comments don’t comport or reflect the love that a real Christian is supposed to demonstrate. Love does not mean that you support or condone in any way conduct that puts lives at risk, which your vote for a Democrat clearly does. Love does not mean that you have to accept or tolerate the lies of the Devil that are being forced on true Bible believers through the vote of Christian Democrats. The Bible says not to even associate with unbelievers. Love is telling the unsaved, and those Democratic Christians professing a belief in Jesus, when they are wrong and when they are being deceived by the Devil, which they clearly are.
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (#1651, elegcho – to convict, refute, to bring to light, to expose, to reprehend severely, chide, admonish, to show one his fault, demand an explanation) them. —Ephesians 5:11
Let me respond in another way with a few other Scripture examples. First, I will refer you to Matthew 10:34-36? Jesus didn’t come to bring peace on earth, but a sword. To set family members against one another. To make a man’s enemies the members of his own household. Does that sound like, “we’re just supposed to love them”?
Second, I will refer you to Matthew 15:21-28 where Jesus encountered the Canaanite woman whose daughter was possessed. When she approached Him for help, Jesus said He wasn’t sent to help people like her. The disciples even requested (#2065, erotao – to question, ask, request, entreat, beg, beseech) that He send her away. Where’s the love in that?
John 20:22-23 is also an interesting passage of Scripture for all of you “we’re just supposed to love everybody” folks. Jesus told his disciples, after He breathed on them and they received the Holy Spirit that if they forgave someone’s sins, they would be forgive; but if they didn’t forgive them, their sins would be retained. Where’s the love in that?
The idea of Christianity for Gentiles wasn’t even included in the understanding that the Apostles had in the days of the early church. Gentiles didn’t receive the Gospel message for several years after the beginning of the Church in Acts 2. We read in Acts 10 the story of Cornelius the Centurion Gentile and when Peter got the message that, wait for it, even the Gentiles could receive Jesus through the Gospel. Peter got that message right after he had his vision while sitting on a roof in Joppa.
Delegates from the house of Cornelius travelled to Joppa and brought Peter back to Caesarea, the home of Cornelius. Peter reminded the delegates of Cornelius that it was illegal for him to even speak with Gentiles (Acts 10:28), but because of his vision he went with them. While Peter was speaking about Jesus, the Holy Spirit fell on Cornelius and his family. By the way, there was no special prayer, or going down to the altar in front, or making a public confession. They simply believed, the Holy Spirit fell on them, they were baptized in the Holy Spirit, and Peter had them baptized in water. These first Gentiles who converted to Christianity didn’t do so until around 5-7 years after the Church began. Up until then it was illegal for Jews and Jewish believers in Jesus to associate with Gentiles. Where’s the love in that?
Demonstrating Christian love is not necessarily always about accepting everything an unsaved person, or an uninformed Christian, says or does. No more than accepting or condoning the actions and words of one of your children. Correction is required, and the level of that correction is directly related to the level of discourse required for the point in question to be received and understood. While you will always love your children, you cannot raise them properly without calling out their mistakes and their failure to understand certain Biblical principles which are set in stone.
The primary issue regarding the unsaved position, and the uninformed Christian position, on abortion and the LBGTQ movement is centered around demonic deception. These people involved in these matters are deceived and led by demonic influences. And you want to associate with them? That’s just dumb. The deception that exists by these wayward Democratic Christians is a battle for control by demonic forces. That is the only battle that exists in this world. If you think that any injustice, social or otherwise, that exists is something that you can address by voting, championing, boycotting, or bringing to light on social media; then congratulations, you are the one being deceived. It’s the Devil’s world, lock, stock, and barrel. And every system of government belongs to him.
The love that should be displayed here demonstrates that absent the demonic influence that these unsaved or so-called Democratic Christians exhibit, the possibility of these people seeing the truth is possible. That is the way you demonstrate love for them; by realizing that their opinions are solely based on the level of demonic influence they find themselves a part of.
Those people who are not saved through the grace of God are not the children of God as many would have you believe. That distinction is only give to those who accept Jesus. The world and its inhabitants who have not accepted Jesus are not the children of God.
But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave power to become the sons (#5043, teknon – children, offspring) of God, even to those who believe in His name. —John 1:12
You don’t tolerate the careless, unthoughtful, and harmful mistakes your children make. On the contrary, you insure that they are addressed and in such a way that they will hopefully not do them again. And you do this because you love them.
The effects of voting for your leaders is similar to Israel wanting to dethrone God by asking for a king (1 Samuel 8). You get what you get. If you think that a vote is better than a prayer—you have bigger problems.
